Paul Wesley and Frederick Morgan Discuss Their Vampire Journals Bromance

Paul Wesley, Frederick Morgan Sure, Elena (Nina Dobrev) keeps growing nearer to Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Caroline (Candice Accola) is cozying as much as Tyler (Michael Trevino), and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is connecting with Bonnie (Kat Graham), however the couple we are really digging is sexy vampire BFFs Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Klaus (Frederick Morgan). And merely wait until the thing is the bloody damage they are doing about this week's episode. However, the stars discuss associations, redemption, being British and playing bad. TV Guide Magazine: You wreak havoc so well together. You had been pals before Frederick became a member of the show, were not you? Wesley: We met through buddies and immediately were built with a good rapport. Joseph's a very awesome guy and thus after i was speaking with [executive producer] Julie Plec about Klaus, I stated, "You need to consider this person Frederick Morgan." Morgan: I wondered why Julie told casting to call me! Wesley: And six several weeks later I heard he was cast. TV Guide Magazine: Your figures are killing their way through America, attempting to develop a hybrid werewolf-vampire military. What's it prefer to collaborate on such intense, bloodstream-drenched moments? Morgan: Klaus really just wants companionship with someone as dark, otherwise more dark, than he's, therefore the more we explore Stefan the Ripper, the greater fun we now have. Wesley: What's awesome, too, is the fact that our figures have this history. Stefan just discovered that he'd been compelled to forget that Klaus and that he were pals previously. It's totally shocking to him, however it makes him see Klaus not only because this archetypal evil guy. He's all of a sudden a man that Stefan empathizes with. Morgan: I am so excited to determine what lengths Stefan goes. I question whether he'll exceed Klaus in the evilness. Wesley: I am all for your! TV Guide Magazine: Seems like you are getting a great time playing Ripper Stefan. Wesley: It's just like a weight is off my shoulders, honestly. I had been reducing on Stefan in Season 2. He required to show more defects. You won't ever saw him taking pleasure in themself while he was always safeguarding everybody. Therefore it is nice not to have this oppressive air of him always requiring to behave the proper way. TV Guide Magazine: But exactly how bad can Stefan go before he can not be pardoned? He's said to be the show's romantic hero! Wesley: Even if he's to date gone that you simply think there is no way we are ever likely to like or trust this person again, I still believe the authors possess the capacity of redeeming him. Morgan: Damon's been pardoned. For much. However with my character killing Aunt Jenna [Sara Canning], I actually do question if there's any redemption there. Wesley: I believe it is extremely easy to redeem you. Morgan: You'll forgive me? Wesley: Yes, but I am biased. TV Guide Magazine: This seems like a genuine bromance. Morgan: It's sounding a little suspect. We have to tone it lower! TV Guide Magazine: Will this be considered a lengthy-term relationship? Morgan: I do not think someone's likely to appear and re-compel Stefan in a few days and everything dates back to normalcy and he's with Elena. As with every relationship, it'll have more complicated and make more layers. I'm excited to determine where it is going. Wesley: Can i have an Episode 13 breakup text of your stuff? Morgan: I will not get it done by text. TV Guide Magazine: Between the killings, can fans expect any romantic interludes of these men? Wesley: When there's a lot evil to complete, there's very little room for really emotional, visceral romance. What is your opinion, dude? Morgan: I question how Klaus would respond to an intimate interest. He's a complete self-involved egomaniac. But a minimum of he's protective of his sister Rebecca [Claire Holt], so which has been a pleasant change. TV Guide Magazine: Julie Plec indicates that Klaus wasn't born evil but that his parents just did not love him enough. Morgan: Yeah, he's the merchandise of the dysfunctional family. The daddy of his brothers and sisters is not his father - his mother had an affair with someone from the werewolf bloodline. So almost always there is been that sense of not loved around his brothers and sisters. He carries his entire family around in boxes. I really like that. He's wiped out them basically he wants to ensure that they're close. Now he wants Stefan which hybrid military to become his new family, to exchange the love he's missing. TV Guide Magazine: But Stefan is keeping something pretty large from Klaus, the truth that Elena didn't die throughout the sacrifice. Morgan: [That secret] needs to be released in the event that friendship occasion to progress. Wesley: Every relationship is all about trust, Klaus. Otherwise we must split up. [They laugh.] TV Guide Magazine: Has Stefan discovered about Elena and Damon's growing closeness? What's going to he do? Wesley: He suspects. However the more he gives directly into his Ripper ways, the less concerned he's. The further he's from Elena, the even further away he's from his humanity. Morgan: Stefan and Elena must be drawn apart we needed to see more turmoil. Also, there's a large Damon and Elena team available rooting to allow them to be together. TV Guide Magazine: Sooner or later, does not it appear that Stefan will need to choose from Klaus and Elena? Wesley: Basically needed to speculate, I'd think that might be a compelling and dramatic method of starting off the storyline. Or possibly something may happen to Klaus. Morgan: [Laughs] I'm not sure just how much I'd fancy Klaus' chances. There is however always likely to be that link between Elena and Stefan. So perhaps eventually, which will win. Will not it? TV Guide Magazine: Romantic! Here's your first American series, Frederick. What type of tips did he has, Paul? Wesley: I simply told him to not be so damned British! None of this "cheerio" garbage. Morgan: And So I attempt to put as numerous cheerios in when i can. The Vampire Journals airs Thursdays at 8/7c around the CW. Sign up for TV Guide Magazine now!
